Overview

The Clark Lake Yacht Club is a private family orientated boating and social club with membership open to the public.  Our members come from the greater Jackson, Lansing, and Ann Arbor areas and share a love of sailing, boating and socializing. Our facilities include a lake front clubhouse on Clark Lake. There is a kitchen for members day use, a bath house and outdoor facilities with a large picnic area and barbeque pit.

The lake front is a beautiful protected swimming area, dock space for 110 power boats and sail boats (no pontoon boats) and a swimming raft. There are Sunfish and Laser sail boats available for members to use. Kayaks and canoes are stored in their own rack with a seperate water entrance. You do not need to own a boat to join the club.

Our racing fleets consist of member owned Rebels, Interlakes, Lasers, Sunfish and Buccaneers. There is sailboat racing most weekends from mid May through late September.

Dues include use of club boats and use of the facilities. We are a “working membership”. In order to keep costs down, each family contributes 8 hours a year (or $120) to help with upkeep of the building and grounds and by helping out at one of our social events.
